How to Add Your Wedding Vendor Business to Google My Business:
Follow these easy steps:
⦁ Visit https://www.google.com/business/. If you already have a business listing, skip to step 2.
⦁ If you’re setting up your business for the first time or updating an existing listing, follow these steps:
⦁ Sign in with your Gmail account, or create a new one.
⦁ If it’s your first time setting up, click “I’m a New Business.”
⦁ Enter your business name, full company name, and choose your business category.
⦁ Choose how customers can contact you.
⦁ If you don’t have a Google My Business account, click “Sign up” at the bottom of the page or log in with your existing Google+ account.
⦁ Enter the exact address of your business.
⦁ To add your business to Google Maps, click “I’m not looking for a place” and enter the coordinates (latitude and longitude) of your location by clicking “Get Location.” Then, type in your street address and city name to find your exact location.
⦁ If you’re not looking for a new business location, click “I’m looking for a place.” Enter the category and city name to search for your business in Google Maps.
⦁ Review the results and select the business that matches yours. If you see a location close to yours, click on it to see more details. Google Maps may show businesses with similar names or services, so choose the one that best matches your location.
⦁ If the listing doesn’t match, click “Narrow Search” to refine the results with specific categories, keywords, or other details.
⦁ Once you select the correct business, click on its name to view information. The following options will appear:
⦁ This business is not mine: If the listing is incorrect, you can report it.
Details: If you’re already listed on Google My Business, your information will appear here. Click “Edit” to make changes.
Manage your listing: You can manage your business details here.
⦁ Suggest a new location: If your business isn’t listed, you can suggest the correct location. Google will verify and add it to the map.
